When does a horse have too much sand in its digestive tract?
This can be quickly checked with a simple test: Dissolve 5-6 horse manures in a bucket of water and stir. Soil and sand will settle to the bottom. If there is more than a tablespoon, it is advisable to give the horse Equi Psyllium Plus to prevent intestinal problems!

Feeding recommendation
Horse ≥ 450 kg: 200 grams per day for 6 days.
Horse < 450 kg and pony/foal: 100 grams per day for 6 days.
1 pack of 1.2 kg is sufficient for one adult horse.
 
Repeat monthly if necessary.
Always administer with dry food.
 
Notice
If a horse repeatedly eats sand, administer Licosan-Forte (LICO0005) to satisfy the need for sand.
