Supplementary feed to stimulate intestinal activity.

Increases the osmotic value of the intestinal contents and promotes gastrointestinal transit.

Bovi Laxi consists of sodium sulfate, a bitter-tasting salt, and calamus root, which masks this bitter taste. Sodium sulfate is not absorbed by the intestine, increasing the osmotic value in the intestine. This reduces the intestinal absorption of moisture, and instead, moisture is drawn through the intestine. Therefore, ensure that the animal always has sufficient fresh drinking water available. The osmotic process increases the intestinal volume, which encourages the animal to defecate. After about 24 hours, feces begin to form.

Feeding recommendation
One-off:

Horse (warmblood): 1 sachet to 3 liters of water.

Horse (cold-blooded): 2 sachets to 6 liters of water.

Pony: ½ packet to 1.5 liters of water.

To avoid clumping, dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 3 liters of warm water. Administer the solution orally via a suitable bottle or tube.

Do not administer in case of intestinal hyperinflation or stomach overload (horse).
